JJ Barrows
JJ Barrows is a Comedian, Author, and Mixed Media Artist who’s performed in comedy clubs, churches and awkward dinner parties all over America. However, don't assume colorful and comedic means a lack of honesty. JJ has also traversed the difficulties of eating disorders, family dysfunctions, and an on-and-off struggle with depression. With a refreshing story-teller style, she reveals the freedom a quippy sense of humor can reveal in all of us by giving breath to those gritty moments.
She released a Dry Bar Comedy Special “Doodle All Day,” published two books “it’s called a spade,” and “KINDA FUNNY,” wrote, produced and starred in her own comedy special, “The DIY Comedy Special,” filmed on location at home... thanks to COVID clearing her schedule for nearly two years and freeing up all her time. Her favorite career highlight was meeting Rob Lowe in a parking lot, until most recently when Dolly Parton waved to her and she momentarily forgot to keep breathing.
When she’s not performing, painting, or trying to find her way back to the ocean, she’s at home in Tennessee with her husband, Josh Newton, as they learn how to be first time parents! You can find her on Instagram @jjbarrows, as well as watch her videos, shop her art, and sign up for her email list at jjbarrows.com.

Anne Miller
Anne was born in Ohio, but calls Columbia home after being here more than 30 + years. She is happily married to Mike, mother to two wonderful boys, active in the community, and deeply committed to her faith and church. She was a dance major at Columbia College, an ACE certified group fitness instructor, personal trainer and had her own personal training business. After receiving a yoga certification through Yoga Fit as a means to fulfill continuing education credits for her fitness certifications, she immediately fell in love with yoga! Years later and now a RYT 200 E Yoga Alliance certified instructor beginning with Stephanie Keach of Asheville Yoga Center, and pursuing her 300 hr with Trace Bonner of Holy Cow Yoga Charleston. Anne is also certified to teach children on the autism spectrum, having studied with Sharon Manner, and is a trauma informed teacher. Anne passionately loves to teach and is honored with each person’s presence in the classes she teaches as well as in her studio.
Anne does not see yoga as a means of perfecting ones self or physical accomplishment, but a very personal way to journey through life as a healthy, happy, contributing part of the community. As she pursues further studies in this ancient discipline, she looks forward to sharing the path and journey of exploration with many other wonderful yogis.
